Notes on the speed regulation of a single-phase motor with voltage variation (not frequency)
Connect the 230 Volt network to the F-N terminals, connect a load, aspirator or Lamp at least 25W to the U1-U2 terminals.
Connect the earth wire to both the mains and the Motor.
Position the K knob to the minimum (all anticlockwise) Press the switch giving voltage to the load and measure the output voltage at terminals U1-U2 (about 70V), to lower it, for example to 35 volts Turn the Trimmer T1 (side card) in the Anti-Timing sense.
Now switch off the regulator with the switch, Connect the fan if not already connected, make sure that it is stopped and supply power by activating the switch.
The aspirator must start with the knob M set to minimum, if it remains still, the minimum voltage must be increased with the Trimmer T1 or the trimmer T2 sel can be used on the front of the escutcheon which is at minimum and turn it clockwise.
Restart with the fan from standstill up to the start with position at the minimum of knob M.
