The new Line IRIspeed is different from the other ones because the device for switching the capacitors banks is electronic, controlled by thyristors, with the capability of switching the capacitors at zero crossing. For this reasons the reactive power regulator has a switching time of the banks extremely quicker than the standard regulator. Particularly suitable for variable quick loads, such as elevators, motors affected by voltage losses, car industry, wind turbines for energy production.... With IRIspeed the total power is switched in less than a second, no current peek on the capacitors at the time of switching on or off, elimination of deterioration of the contacts in the standard contactors, noise reduced to a minimum, reduced maintenance. In the standard execution we use capacitors type IRIprofessional Long Life with Un=550V, available on demand with techno Life model at 500V or Top Life at 600V.
